Open Services for AutoCAD
Open Services for AutoCAD is a web-based service that was officially released as an add-on for AutoCAD 2007 in 2007, although an earlier version, released in 2005, had existed as a trial version.

Open Services for AutoCAD were a means of accessing AutoCAD features from a web browser without the need to use AutoCAD. A web application could run without AutoCAD on the local computer. The functionality available through Open Services for AutoCAD are more limited than the native AutoCAD functionalities, but allows users to do things such as activate a feature from within a web browser without having to run AutoCAD first.

Open Services for AutoCAD were discontinued in 2008. The official reason for discontinuing Open Services for AutoCAD was that it was not meeting market needs, but Autodesk officially recommended that users stop using it. The functionality available through Open Services for AutoCAD were limited to just some of the basic features of AutoCAD. The following features are not available through Open Services for AutoCAD:

Advanced command-line scripting
Advanced User scripting
Layout views
Working with drawing models
Working with Construction Sets
DXF import/export
Remote operation
Custom menus

AutoCADThe present invention relates to pneumatic tires, particularly, to a method of and apparatus for measuring the uniformity of the tire.
The performance and life of tires has become increasingly important in recent years, especially in light of the fact that a high percentage of auto accidents are due to defective tires. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), defective tires caused more than 6,000 accidents resulting in the deaths of more than 500 persons and over 100,000 injuries in 1985 alone.
All tires, regardless of the manufacturer, have a characteristic degree of “uniformity” which is dependent upon the manufacturing process. Tires of the same size and type are not, however, manufactured to the same specifications. Because of variations in the manufacturing process which may occur in the manufacturing facilities and because of the way in which the rubber is laid down in a tire during the manufacturing process, each individual

Create a new sheet in Autocad and a new project. The default name is ACAD, but you can change it using the File -> New.. menu.
Go to layer’s menu and choose “Insert -> Add Layers”. Then, choose the EXE under “Create a new layer”.
Highlight the EXE and drag it to the top of the sheet.
Go to the layer menu and choose “Stencil Type” and change it to “AT-STEX”. You can also choose to use the internal shapefile to create the at-stex instead of a new layer.

How it works
The basis for this stencil is created by importing and analyzing an existing 2D 2D object, the house, that is found in Autocad. You can modify this layer to change the elevations, color, texture, etc. (this is done using the brush tool). Then, the layer is embedded in the st-elevation project file.

There is an example st-elevation project file that you can modify, change and tweak. You can change the colors, textures, name of the EXE, etc. It will be included with the st-elevation.

What is needed
Autocad st-elevation provides support for the following tools:

Infinite Zoom

What is not supported
Autocad st-elevation currently does not provide support for the following tools:

CAD Base 2009
Data Management

Autocad st-elevation requires the following programs:

How to install
Autocad st-elevation is not a standalone application. Autocad st-elevation must be installed into Autocad 2009 and Autocad 2010, otherwise the functions will not work.
