The Lands Between that are the lands cut off from the Elden Rune Saga, are a land where no one knows if it is deep in the night or in the day, where unnatural things happen, and the laws of this realm are decided by magic, a land where a traveler unwittingly takes on a contract and finds themselves in a dangerous situation. Dangerous, in a way, to say that it is close to the outer world, but at the same time, it is close enough to the Elden Rune Saga.
