Gameplay-wise, Elden Ring Crack For Windows feels like it should be a Destiny-style first-person shooter – its presentation and setting are Destiny-esque, and the gameplay involves running around in circles to scavenge materials for crafting, which Destiny players should be quite familiar with. But the combat, while good enough, just feels too watered down for a game of its style. There’s a lot of health and shield management involved, and most importantly, it takes too long to do anything. As a shooter, you’ll find yourself waiting for enemy attacks to hit in order to pop health potions and the like, and it never really feels like the wait is worthwhile. You’ll always be able to quickly attack an enemy, whereas for most enemies, doing so quickly will mean sacrificing significant resources. Then there’s the issue of the weapon degradation system, which is something I wish hadn’t been implemented at all. Weapons don’t degrade at all, and any weapons you find in that state are just as good as new weapons, with zero leveling penalties, making them a little too powerful. As a result, your character is a bit too durable. You might find yourself surrounded by dozens of enemies and not be able to take them all out in a single battle, which is a bit of a turnoff. The story is interesting, if not compelling. The world is broken down into three different zones, which contain three different styles of combat, though each just sort of stagnates after that. They each have their own enemies to fight, but in no real way do they progress at all. There are some pretty striking revelations here and there, though they’re often met with a huge disconnect between the plot and the game’s setting. This is a good thing, because it makes the game feel like it’s tackling a wide variety of different themes. The art is well-designed and varied. The characters are well-animated and expressive, with some of them being better-looking than others, especially in cutscenes. It’s particularly impressive because some of them don’t have full animation sets. Multiplayer is decent, but the story mode is the only mode in the game. It’s a shame there aren’t more modes. The lack of a single-player campaign is somewhat glossed over at first, but its absence is a bit more noticeable once you get your hands on the game.
