Well written, but there’s nothing really new to add to the OOTP franchise.
OOTP, does pretty much everything that the previous OOTP titles (22 included) did. However,
the most important thing, that this is the first title in the OOTP series in almost 3 years,
might deserve a higher rating.
In my opinion, the 3D-mode of the game is not the best-seller that it could have been.
I felt that the editor could have been more flexible with its template and designed board/schedule.
The performance of the game could have been more improved.
Even though the title lacks something new, it still is worth to have a try.
OOTP is an astonishing accomplishment! For anyone that wants to make that big leap to go from a casual game to a more in depth, real, and immersive game, this title will make that jump for you. The franchise is already a great game, with a great community and frequent updates. However, the fact that this is one of the few sports games that goes beyond gameplay, to make it a big step forward in the sports strategy genre and world of sports gaming, will make this a real winner for anyone who doesn’t want to have regrets playing it.
I’ve been a fan of the OOTP franchise since the first release and this one is a real step up. Imho, it’s well worth the 15€ price tag.
