How to Change AutoCAD Units:

For starters, we’ll look at some of the units you can use. The basic units are millimeters (mm), feet (ft), inches (in), yards (yd) and miles (mi).

Normally you can change the units in a drawing by selecting Edit > Preferences… or Window > Preferences… and then you’ll find the Units tab.
