You can choose to play with the card system, the D20 system, or both, depending on your gaming preference. Playing with the Card System: The Index card RPG is a simple dice roll based system, much like those found in card games like Magic: The Gathering or Dominion. What’s new:
- members are divided into 4 gameplay levels:
1. Generic – These are some Dungeon-Party account or service level stories that would not work properly without the Dungeon-Party service. These stories will use our generic-level characters and should be created entirely at this level.
2. Tough but no Combat – Some Dungeon-Party members participate in a Dungeon-Party level with no combat. The members of the group need to deal with the NPCs’ general toughness (small sizes, slow walking, etc.), but the Dungeon-Party level will still count as such. However, the ratings will not appear on the member’s blog and it won’t be tallied. Any member that wants to create this level can use the create level button.
3. Tough but some Combat – These members have face combat and can have up to three wins. The DM will not need to create anything on the Dungeon-Party level but they will need to leave feedback and rate the Dungeon-Party before their next game starts.
4. Hard Core – These members always have combat and can have unlimited conflicts. The DM will need to create some events for the group. The level will use the majority of our equipment and information settings for combat so that members will have a tough experience.
