The gameplay of this game is great. You have an even playing field where all of your army is competing for the same exact goal of conquering a region of the map. As you play, it’s easy to forget that you’re playing anything besides a video game because it feels so real.
The campaign is very interesting to play through. Each stage you unlock more and more units and you can see how you’re advancing in the game. Another thing I loved about the game is that you don’t have to win the game in one round to unlock the next round. The mission lasts 8-12 rounds or until one side is defeated, whichever comes first. This is a game that’s easy to get into but hard to get out of.
Colonial Conquest:
Gameplay is similar to base-building strategy games like Dominion, however, CC is much faster. Where Dominion has a grid, CC has a map. But when the players want to do battle, they are put on the same side of the map, not in a straight line.
This game has a huge amount of strategy and depth to it. The first thing to pay attention to is the map. There are four kinds of terrain: land, water, and forest, with other barriers like hills and mountains. Not only do these terrain types affect the way in which your army can attack and defend, but they also affect how your army can move and attack.
As the game progresses you unlock more and more types of units, but the one you start with is always the cheapest. For example, the German infantry unit will cost 150 gold and the German artillery unit will cost 250 gold. But the one to unlock first will be the German artillery unit, as it is the most effective.
In base-building strategy games, you are limited in the amount of money you can spend on research. For example, in Dominion you are limited to a certain number of victory points, so you have to choose wisely. However, CC offers a different type of resource: influence. With this resource, you can buy more units, upgrade units to give them better stats, and build new units that are even more effective.

The Colonial Conquest is a comic created by Dave Gibbons and Andy Diggle that ran for 13 issues published by the American comic book publisher Avatar from 2011–2013.
After Avatar officially closed shop in 2013, a “Thank You” page was added to the back cover of the 12th issue thanking readers for their support over the previous years.
In 2014, the Columbian Rights Movement created an ongoing weekly webcomic named The Colonial Conquest in collaboration with Gibbons and Diggle called project.
Fictional use
The story is set in the near future and centers on a series of unrelated events during which the U.S. government sent out an expeditionary force to the American West for the purpose of settlement.
The story mostly revolves around Eddie Coyle, a wealthy, wealthy character who discovers the corpses of several settlers murdered by a mysterious, organized group of Native American guerrillas, the People’s Liberation Army. These “ghost warriors” (Shawnee) use decapitation, costumes adorned with tribal flowers, and bows made of human bone as their symbolic trademark, and the U.S. army is being outgunned by them, who are better equipped and more experienced with modern weapons. The United States government is unable to solve the murders.

Sam is forced to abandon his dream of continuing pursuing a writing career, due to his constant involvement with the CIA.
We learn that Eddie previously had a bullying black friend, Timmy, who was often tricked and humiliated by Sam. Timmy grew to despise Sam, and fights with his spirit. After a tragic accident happens to Timmy’s sister, he confronts Sam, and the two wrestle.
The comic ends with Timmy asking Eddie for revenge. Eddie and Sam angrily deny Timmy. We are left to wonder if Timmy’s ghost will eventually cause Sam to leave the army
